Frog City, Vermont. Former summer White House for Calvin Coolidge. True story. Max and I went on a walk around the yard. We were just barely warm enough.

Here we are inside at Frog City. Emma shared some hats with Max. Leah thought it was a little bit funny.

The No Child Left Behind act makes it a crime for a child to learn to read without following specific steps in the literacy process. Luckily for Max, eating the book is step 1. He has it down and is able to move on to step 2, staying perfectly still while Leah and I find the camera and get the shutter to actually go. The reading is not without its problems: ever since he finished The Outsiders, he refuses to take off the denim jacket.

If you have a picture of yourself on a vaporetto with the sun setting over the Duomo in the background, you should try to show it to people as often as possible, even if it is out of date.
